Not being a tourist city, it remains bustling throughout the year. There is a community of expats, most living here year-round in the surrounding countryside. The city has a rich history and is known for its gastronomy, wine and its impressive castle.
Public transport connections to Alicante include regular bus and train services, also a direct highway that means only 30 minutes to the beach or the airport. Benidorm at 1 hour. Located on the Costa Blanca, one of the best climates on the Spanish peninsula, more than 300 days of sunshine a year.
